So i’ve noticed recently that my SCCM OSD task sequence variables post has been quite popular… taking over in the popularity game from my OSD basic troubleshooting article…
https://hayesjupe.wordpress.com/sccm-osd-task-sequence-variables-a-beginners-guide/
I would still like to write more helpful articles around anything to do with MS infrastructure, especially around SCCM and Exchange… so if anyone has ideas on what articles they would like to see written to help them out – drop a comment in reply to this post.
how about a listing of all OSD Task Sequences variables and their purpose? Do you know how hard it is to find such a list? If you search Microsoft you just get a listing of SMSTS variables.

Hey Mike,
i believe between two pieces of doco they are all listed an explained (the explainations are poor…. but thats not really surprising) – but buggered if i can remmeber the specific doco’s off the top of my head.
Im pretty busy at the moment – but ill investiagte further at some stage – and see if i can throw something together.

Hey Mike,
your best bet is the “toolkit reference” which is available from within http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=25175 and http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb632442.aspx
its quite a list to wade through – but they are all there!
